College of Business, Bank One Hosts National Management Expert Stan Davis at Speaker Series in Denver, Fort Collins on May 15

Stan Davis, national expert on information technology and business and award-winning author, will discuss "Creating the Competitive Corporation" in Denver and Fort Collins on May 15.

The presentations are part of a yearlong speaker series featuring national business experts, sponsored by the College of Business at Colorado State University and Bank One.

Davis’ presentations will address the fast pace of growth in the Front Range and outline key principles that businesses must incorporate in order to thrive in a competitive and changing business climate. The guest speaker also will outline how businesses can increase its value to customers.

Davis has written numerous award-winning books on management, the future of business and the value of adopting a lifelong learning approach to business. His most recent book, "BLUR: The Speed of Change in the Connected Economy," emphasizes the need for businesses to adopt lifelong learning principles as a way to keep up with the fast pace of technology in business.

Davis also wrote "2020 Vision," which was named the best management book of 1991 by Fortune Magazine, and "Future Perfect," which won the Tom Peters Book of the Decade Award.

  • Luncheon presentation – 11:30 a.m., Marriott Hotel, 350 East Horsetooth Road, Fort Collins. Cost is $55 per person.
