Will “Buffy” Character Cordelia Attend Colorado State University in the Fall?

Will Cordelia Chase, a key character in the enormously popular Warner Brothers television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," become a student at Colorado State University in the Fall of ’99?

As fans of the series anxiously await the conclusion of the two-part season finale, slated for a delayed airing in July, Colorado fans should look for the rerun of the episode titled "Choices."

In this episode, which originally aired May 4, Buffy and her friends discuss their future college plans. Willow (Alyson Hannigan), Buffy’s best friend and sidekick, has been accepted at all the best Ivy League schools and the illustrious Oxford University in England. Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) has been accepted at Northwestern University in Chicago, and Xander (Nicholas Brendon) taunts Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) who refuses to share in the discussion. Later, Xander again confronts Cordelia with the accusation that she has not been accepted anywhere she applied because those schools had reached their "mean-spirited, superficial princess quota." Then Cordelia smugly whips out letters of acceptance from "USC, Colorado State, Duke and Columbia."

The WB series, which runs on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. (MST), began in 1997 and has acquired a huge and loyal following.
