Public Invited to Attend Annual Joint Service Club Address Sept. 29

Colorado State University President Albert Yates will deliver the 28th annual Joint Service Club Address to area service clubs and Fort Collins community members during a noon luncheon Sept. 29.

The event, held in the Canyon West Room of the Fort Collins Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St., is a tradition in which the university’s president provides community members with an update on the challenges, opportunities and achievements of Colorado State. This year is Yates’ 10th as Colorado State president, and his message will center on service above self as he reviews the university’s progress over the last decade. The public is welcome to attend and reservations must be made in advance.

At the event, participants will have opportunities to win tickets to Colorado State sporting events, theater productions, concerts and other special events.

The address is sponsored by the Joint Service clubs of Fort Collins and hosted by the Rotary Club of Fort Collins ("The Downtown Club").

Cost of the luncheon is $10. For reservations, contact Don Johnson of the Fort Collins Rotary Club at (970) 482-3883.
