Entrepreneur and University Supporter to Receive Honor Alumnus Award from Colorado State University

Colorado State University will honor an alumnus known as a business visionary, an expert in the use of vitamins and natural herbs as alternative treatment and as a generous donor of time, energy and resources to the university.

Logan Chamberlain will receive the Honor Alumnus Award from the College of Applied Human Sciences at the university’s Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony April 26. He is president and chief executive officer of RealHealth Media; president and CEO of Herb Companion Press; executive vice president of Interweave Press; publisher of magazines including The Herb Companion and Herbs for Health; and author of several best-selling books.

Chamberlain, who earned his doctorate in human resource development in 1994, remains active on campus as faculty affiliate in the School of Education, adviser to the College of Applied Human Sciences and as a member of the advisory board for the Exercise and Physiology Program.

Prior to joining Interweave Press, Chamberlain taught business organizational behavior for two years at Colorado State.

He also established the Chamberlain Family Graduate Scholarship and is a member of the 1870 Club at the university. He is a longtime supporter of the university’s athletic programs and is a member of the Ram Club.

A native of Texas, Chamberlain lives in Fort Collins with his wife, Susan. His son, Logan III, graduated from Colorado State’s College of Business.
