Educational Bike Ride Rolls Through Fort Collins June 22

As part of National Bike Month, Colorado State University’s Environmental Learning Center is sponsoring Nature Bike, an educational bike ride through Fort Collins that begins at 10 a.m. June 22.

Nature Bike consists of a two-mile bike ride between the Environmental Learning Center’s site at 2400 Ziegler Road and Edora Park. A learning center program leader will discuss the natural ecology along the trail during three stops.

Bike riders of all abilities and ages are welcome. Participants should meet for the free event at 10 a.m. at the ELC site on Ziegler Road. The ride will conclude by noon at Edora. Riders should bring their own water and wear appropriate safety gear. Reservations are encouraged but not mandatory for participation.
