Nightwalker Program for Teens Teaches Youth Outdoor Skills, Ecosystem Appreciation

Teens who want to learn more about the great outdoors can attend the three-part Nightwalker Program for Teens beginning June 13 at the Colorado State University Environmental Learning Center, 2400 Ziegler Road.

Nightwalker teaches youth between 12 and 15 years of age about ecosystem appreciation and valuable outdoor skills in a camp-like setting, complete with s’mores treats and storytelling. The series runs from 5-9:30 p.m. June 13, July 11 and July 30. Teens spend the evenings in a safe, healthy and fun setting with their peers.

Nightwalker is a free educational program, but donations are appreciated. Food and snacks will be provided.

Participation is limited and reservations are required. To make a reservation or for more information, contact Brett Bruyere at 491-1661 or bruyere@lamar.colostate.edu.
