Global Consulting Company Ceo to Speak at Colorado State University’s College of Business Nov. 19

A global consultant with hundreds of business and non-governmental organization clients including Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu International, FarEastone in Taiwan and Daikin in Japan will share her entrepreneurial experiences at Colorado State University’s College of Business.

Susanne E. Jalbert, who has owned Jalbert Consulting since 1981, will speak at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in Room 119 of Rockwell Hall on the Colorado State campus. The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served prior to the presentation.

Jalbert will share her entrepreneurial expertise as part of the Great Entrepreneurial Speaker Series at Colorado State, which is designed to provide current and future entrepreneurs with advice on establishing and managing a business.

Jalbert created the international company to promote entrepreneurs while giving emerging business owners the expertise to run companies and organizations. Her goal is to give emerging business owners the expertise to run companies and organizations that employ others, create income, promote self-esteem and extend positive good in their communities.

Jalbert is involved with research concerning women entrepreneurs’ impact on the global economy. She has assisted hundreds of entrepreneurs in over 31 countries, including Thailand, Russia and Zimbabwe.

Jalbert hopes to not only educate but to advocate, produce and support free-market enterprise all over the world. She presented "Entrepreneuring: Women’s Economic Solution" at the Beijing 4th U.N. Conference on Women and is a supporter of women business owners worldwide.

The Colorado Federation of Business Professional Women honored her as 2002 Colorado Woman-Owned Business of the Year.

Jalbert received her master’s degree in education from Colorado State University. While working on her doctorate work, also at Colorado State, she designed and implemented a program called "International Business Education and Training."
