University’s Department of Animal Sciences Celebrates 100 Years

Colorado State University Department of Animal Sciences will celebrate its 100-year anniversary during the university’s Homecoming weekend, beginning Oct. 3, on campus.

The celebration weekend will include a reception, dinner and program at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the BW Pickett Equine Center at the Foothills Campus. Attendees will receive a free record of accomplishments publication. Festivities continue throughout the weekend with a department tailgate party, a float in the Homecoming parade and the Colorado State University football game against Fresno State on Oct. 4.

Cost for the dinner and reception is $25, the tailgate party is $10 and football tickets may be purchased by calling (970) 491-RAMS.
