Durrell Express is Csu’s Newest Dining Facility – with a Twist

Durrell Express, Colorado State University Dining Services’ newest dining facility, will cater to student’s hectic lifestyles and provide students with unique "grab-and-go" options when it opens Feb. 4.

Rather than sit down in the dining center, Durrell Express allows students, staff and faculty to take their meals to go. Durrell Express provides fast take out-options including pizza by the slice, sandwiches, ready-made salads, chips and to-go beverages. Plenty of healthy items and extras like energy drinks and snacks are available.

Several payment options are available including using student meal plans, convenience dollars or cash. Items can be purchased as a full meal or a la carte.

Durrell Express will feature a unique 10 feet by 8 feet collage mural of old historic Colorado State photographs. The mural features photos from 1880 through the 1960s.

To celebrate the Durrell Express grand opening, students can enter a drawing during the week of Feb. 2-6. Cam the Ram will draw the grand prize, a Special Edition Dr. Pepper mountain bike, on Feb. 5. Throughout the week, students can win other prizes including a Panasonic Discman/MP3 playback system, donated by Sunny Fresh Foods; a Gatorade backpack loaded with water bottles; T-shirts and workout towels and an M&M jacket. No purchase is necessary to enter the drawing.

Durrell Express, located in the Durrell Dining Center on the Colorado State campus, is open daily Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
