Colorado State University Continuing Education Center on South College Will be Closing June 30th

Colorado State University will be closing the Continuing Education Center, located at  2925 S. College Ave., effective June 2004. After a careful and detailed review, the University has determined that the majority of the continuing education courses at this location also are offered by other Fort Collin’s agencies.

"Due to statewide budget cuts and the impact of these cuts on higher education we feel this decision was unavoidable," said Dallas Everhart,  interim continuing education director. "We look forward to continuing to offer credited programs at our other locations."

"As Colorado State University and the state continue to face financial difficulty, it is important to focus our energies on the core issues at our institution," said Provost Peter Nicholls.

The center offered non-credit professional development and personal enrichment classes as well as technology training.

Continuing Education will continue its strong tradition of providing first-rate content and service to their students and clients.

Individuals seeking to further their careers may enroll in any of the campus continuing education evening credit or online distance courses and degrees.
