Penley to discuss funding issues in higher education tomorrow

at annual Fall Address and University Picnic

WHAT:          Colorado State University President Larry Edward Penley will discuss the role of the university in economic development, the responsibility that the university has for citizens’ quality of life, the role of scholarships and financial aid in providing access to higher education, major financial changes ahead for the university and fulfilling the role of a 21st-century land-grant institution.

WHEN/     

WHERE:      Tuesday, September 14 at 11:15 a.m., faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends and Fort Collins community members convene on the historic Oval on campus with the Colorado State Marching Band. At 11:30 a.m. President Penley begins his remarks from the south end of the Oval.

The Oval will be closed to all other traffic throughout the day. A multiple outlet box will be provided.
