Colorado State University hosts World Fest celebration

WHAT:     World Fest at Colorado State University offers approximately 20 colorful and festive booths featuring food, entertainment, artifacts, games, music and dancers from around the world. Entertainment includes a jazz band, tap dancers and an Indian dance troupe. This event is held to celebrate cultural diversity within the community.

WHEN/     

WHERE:      1 p.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday, September 18 at University Village, 1600 West Plum Street.

DETAILS:     Local restaurants will provide a variety of dishes from around the World for the celebration including Al Salam, Applebee’s, Coopersmith’s Pub and Brewing, La Luz, Rainwater Springs Deli and Restaurant, Rasta Pasta, Star of India, Sushi Jeju, Tortilla Marissa’s and Woody’s.

     Schedule of events:

1pm-3pm: Children’s Games

2:30pm-3pm: Cake Walk

2pm-4pm: Cultural Booths

4pm-8pm: Entertainment

5:30pm-6:30pm: Multicultural Dinner

     Admission is free. Attendees wishing to attend the Multicultural Dinner may bring a dish to share or purchase meal tickets ($5 for adults, children accompanied by an adult eat free).
