The Eighth Annual Northern Colorado Real Estate Conference, "Retail in Northern Colorado: The Shift, The Economic Impact," will explore retail realignment and impact along the Front Range.

The conference is scheduled from 7:15 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 28 at the University Park Holiday Inn in Fort Collins. During the day, mayors from Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland and Windsor will speak along with keynote luncheon speaker, Colorado State President Larry Edward Penley.

Various Northern Colorado business and community leaders also are scheduled to speak. Exhibits will be displayed during the conference for participants to view. For a full schedule of speakers and topics, visit the Center for Investment and Real Estate Finance Web site at www.biz.colostate.edu/ciref.

Registration cost for the conference is $37.50 for Center for Investment and Real Estate Finance members; $25 for Colorado State students, faculty and staff; and $90 for non-members interested in attending. There is a three-hour commission update course after the conference from 2:30-5:30 p.m., which is free to Center members and NCCAR members and $35 for non-members.

"It’s a great networking opportunity for Colorado State University students, faculty, alumni, and Center members," said Eric Holsapple, interim director of the Center for Investment and Real Estate Finance at Colorado State. "The conference is organized to inform local professionals of current research opportunities and information as well as activities within Northern Colorado. This helps keep the Center’s and the professional’s goals aligned, allowing both to be more effective."
