Four Candidates for Colorado State University’s Vice President for Administrative Services to Visit Campus Feb. 14-24

Colorado State University announced today that four candidates for one of the university’s top posts, Vice President for Administrative Services, will visit campus Feb. 14-24 to interact with the university community at a series of open forums. All forums are open to the public.

Dates, times and locations for the candidate sessions follow.

Juan Sandoval – 4-5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 14, Room 203-5 Lory Student Center.

Robert Specter – 4-5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, Senate Chambers of the Lory Student Center.

Keith Ickes – 4-5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, Room 220-222 Lory Student Center.

Anthony Ferrara – 4-5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24, Room 220-222 Lory Student Center.

Sandoval is currently the executive director of Auxiliary Enterprises and Finance at El Paso Independent School District in El Paso, Texas. He was previously owner and vice president of Business Operations at Universal Solutions for Business and formerly served as vice president for Finance and Administration at the University of Texas-El Paso.

Specter is Vice president for Administration and Finance at Baruch College in New York, New York. He previously served as vice president for Finance and Administration and chief financial officer at Oregon State University, and formerly as vice president for Administration and chief financial officer at Montana State University.

Ickes is currently serving as interim vice president for Administrative Services at Colorado State University. He is also the associate vice president for Administrative Services and director of the Office of Budgets and Institutional Analysis at Colorado State and has previously served as university registrar at Cornell University.

Ferrara serves as vice president for Administration at the State University of New York-Binghamton. He previously served as vice president for Administration and Business Affairs at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He was formerly assistant vice chancellor for Business and Finance and director of Finance and Resource Planning for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Health Services at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Colorado State faculty, staff and students will have the opportunity to complete evaluation forms for candidates following each open forum.
