WHAT:     

Mae Jemison, the first African-American woman in space, as keynote speaker for the 2006 Diversity Conference. The event is free and open to the public. As the first woman of color to orbit Earth aboard the space shuttle Endeavor in 1992, Jemison will share stories from her life as a trailblazer. Now the founder and president of two technology companies, this dynamic woman will talk about her amazing accomplishments.

7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 in the Colorado State University Lory Student Center Main Ballroom.
