Colorado State University’s Denver Ram Network is hosting a first-time homebuyer event Saturday, May 19 as the first installment of its newly formed Life Long Learning Series.
Buying a first home is a big step – the process can be disorienting and a bit uncomfortable. At the same time, being a first-time buyer can be fun and thrilling since it’s the largest purchase most people will ever make.
Experts Lance Guanella with Exit Realty Unlimited and Craig David with Ace Mortgage Funding, Inc. will guide participants through the ins and outs of buying a first home and provide unbiased professional advice about financing, steps in the process, understanding needs vs. wants and finding the right home.
The event will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Space Gallery, 765 Santa Fe Drive, in Denver. The free catered event is open to Colorado State alumni and anyone else interested in attending.
To RSVP, call Erik Glenn at 303-376-2613 no later than May 16.
Additional highlights of the event include a drawing for an Apple iPod and gift certificates from local businesses along with other prizes. The event also provides great opportunities to network and meet other Colorado State alumni in the Denver metro area. For more information, contact Glenn at 303-376-2613.
