Colorado State to Co-Host Forum for Entrepreneurs in Loveland on Nov. 7

The Colorado State University Center for Entrepreneurship and Office of Economic Development will team up with the Northern Colorado Business Report and Fort Collins Technology Incubator to host the 2007 Startup Journey, a forum for entrepreneurs, on Nov. 7.

The event will be from noon-5 p.m. in the McKee 4-H Youth and Community Building at The Ranch, 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland. The forum will immediately precede the 10th annual Bravo! Entrepreneurship Awards.

Hunt Lambert, associate vice president of the CSU Office of Economic Development and former CSU Entrepreneurship Center director, and Alice Kotrlik, director of Business Finance Programs of the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, will speak at Startup Journey.

"This forum will create learning opportunities for entrepreneurs and will provide content-rich panels based on those with experience," Lambert said.

The forum will offer three panels of experts for aspiring or current entrepreneurs interested in improving their knowledge and chances of success:

– Panel 1: Funding options for startups, designed to help the audience understand the range of funding options available to startups.

– Panel 2: Marketing for startups, designed to help the audience understand less traditional and low-cost forms of marketing for startups.

– Panel 3: Table networking with past Bravo! Entrepreneur award winners.
