Photo Opportunity: 4-H to Deliver Gift Bags at Children’s Hospital on Jan. 28

Colorado State 4-H members will be delivering gift bags to child patients on Monday, Jan. 28, at the Children’s Hospital in Aurora, as part of their annual statewide community service project.

The Colorado State 4-H Officer Team will be gathering bags this weekend as part of the annual Leadership Development Conference (LDC) held at the Marriott City Center in downtown Denver.  All 4-H clubs from across the state have been invited to participate in this project by filling gift bags with craft items from the hospital wish list and bringing them to the conference.

Specific delivery details have yet to be set by the hospital.  To cover the event, please contact Nik Olsen at (970) 491-7766.  You can also visit the main LDC webpage for more information about the event and the annual community service project at http://colorado4h.org/events_opportunities/ldc/index.shtml.

For further information about the Colorado State 4-H program or how to join, please see the main website at http://www.colorado4h.org/. The Colorado State 4-H is operated through Colorado State University Extension, part of Colorado State University.
