Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: Larimer County Boys and Girls Club Go Fishing April 27 with Colorado State Students

WHAT:

The Colorado State University student chapter of the American Fisheries Society will be teaching kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County how to fish and learn about other aquatic ecosystems.

WHEN/WHERE:

10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at the Lakeside Kampgrounds of America campground north of Fort Collins, 1910 N. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, CO 80524.

DETAILS:

Students from Colorado State’s American Fisheries Society chapter and volunteers from the Larimer County Boys and Girls Club are providing an opportunity for about 20 kids to learn about fishing and aquatic ecosystems.

The purpose of CSU’s student AFS chapter is to broaden the minds of undergraduate and graduate students about the fisheries profession, advancements in fisheries science and resource conservation.
