Media Advisory: Washington Post Reporter, Author to Speak at College of Business on May 14

WHAT:

T.R. Reid, Washington Post reporter and NPR commentator, will speak to an international business class at Colorado State University’s College of Business on Wednesday, May 14. Reid’s book, "The United States of Europe," is required reading in the professional MBA course offered by the college.

WHEN/WHERE:

Reid will speak at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, in Room 165 in Rockwell Hall.

DETAILS:

Reid has written and hosted documentary films for National Geographic TV, PBS and the A&E network. He is a regular commentator on National Public Radio’s "Morning Edition." He has written six books in English, three in Japanese and translated one book from Japanese. "The United States of Europe" was a national bestseller in 2005.

Reid is a member of the board of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, the University of Colorado Medical School and a number of community organizations and schools. He has taught at Princeton University and the University of Michigan.
