Media Advisory: Colorado State University Announces New Environmental School, July 22 in Denver

WHAT: Colorado State University President Larry Edward Penley will unveil plans for a university-wide school to address global environmental issues. As a green university, CSU leads substantial and meaningful research in environmental sustainability and clean energy around the state and nation. The school will position Colorado State to confront complex environmental problems and begin to build a green workforce.

WHEN: 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 22.

WHERE: Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Boardroom, 1445 Market St., Denver, CO 80202. Hosted by the Denver Metro Economic Development Corp.

WHO: Speakers include Larry Edward Penley, president; and Tony Frank, provost and senior executive vice president and the founding director of the school, who will be officially named as part of the announcement.
