International Children’s Carnival Celebrates ‘Going Global’ at Colorado State March 29

Colorado State University is hosting the 14th annual International Children’s Carnival from 2:30-5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 29 in the Lory Student Center’s North Ballroom on the university’s main campus. The program gives children and their parents an opportunity to increase their knowledge and understanding of different cultures by engaging with traditional children’s games, crafts, songs, dances and storytelling. The carnival also features a stage and fashion show.

This year’s theme is "Go Global! Kids Move the World Forward!"  Activities are geared for children ages 3 – 12. Children collect stamps in their "passport" as they visit the various booths for games, crafts and activities. Once they have collected enough stamps, they receive a prize.

The event is free and open to the public. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The International Children’s Carnival is sponsored by Colorado State University’s Housing and Dining Services, Apartment Life and Off-Campus Student Services/Resources for Adult Learners.
