Celebrate Colorado State in the Month of April

During the month of April, Colorado State University will "Celebrate Colorado State" with a series of events providing an opportunity to recognize the achievements of the campus community in the past year. Included in the celebration are events honoring university employee years of service and retirement, outstanding alumni and university supporters, and all students, faculty, staff and researchers who have earned awards and acclaim throughout the year.

The month culminates with the Celebrate Colorado State Awards April 28.

This year’s Celebrate Colorado State features open houses and grand openings. The grand opening of the new Computer Science Building is at 4 p.m. April 17 on the east side of the Lory Student Center Plaza.  

The Fort Collins Alumni Office Open House will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 17 at 1301 S. College Ave.   

"Celebrate the CSU System" will be held from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the State Capitol, west foyer. Alumni and friends are invited to the capitol to learn about the CSU system.

"I Love CSU Day" will be held April 18. CSU students and alumni from around the country can participate in the CSUnity National Day of Community Service from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the 6th Annual Fast and the Furriest 5K/1K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. or the annual Spring Football Game and Fan Frenzy at 9:30 a.m. with a free pancake breakfast, followed by the free game at 11:30 a.m.

Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 in the Lory Student Center.

The "Celebrate Colorado State" awards ceremony will take place April 28 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom. The awards ceremony recognizes accomplishments of CSU students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends.
