Catherine Greener to Speak as Part of Colorado State University GSSE Speaker Series on Tuesday, April 21

The Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise Program in the Colorado State University College of Business will host Catherine Greener for a talk from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday April 21 in the Engineering Building, Room 100.

Her talk, "Is ‘Less Bad’ Good Enough?," is sponsored by Accenture.

Greener is CEO and Founder of Greener Solutions Inc., a network of firms creating a sustainable future. For more 20 years, Greener has been a leader in the field of sustainability, lean manufacturing, and industrial quality management systems. She served as a consultant to Wal-Mart, assisting the company’s 1.3 million U.S. employees in learning about sustainability.

The GSSE Program seeks to provide sustainable enterprise solutions to some of the most stubborn issues facing the world including poverty, disease, malnutrition and environmental degradation.  Students are provided with the appropriate training, experience and character necessary to create and operate for-profit and nonprofit startups, nongovernmental organizations, and to work in multinational companies that champion social and environmental objectives while delivering solid returns on investment.
