The Colorado State University Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Engagement, in conjunction with the Institutional Review Board, will begin a series of lectures Thursday that address the biology and ethics of stem cell research methodologies.
Dr. Maureen Condic, a neurobiology faculty member at the University of Utah and a Senior Fellow of the Westchester Institute for Ethics and the Human Person, will speak about “Embryonic Stem Cells: Hope and Hype” at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Anatomy/Zoology Building W 118.
The event is free and open to the public.
