CSU Young Alumni Professional Networking Night Jan. 14

Colorado State University Alumni Association in Denver will host a free professional networking event from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at the CSU alumni-owned Denver restaurant, The Lobby.

Attendees will mix and mingle with peers and recent CSU graduates. “Graduating from college is a momentous occasion but can cause anxiety with graduates who feel the pressure of the tight job market,” said Leah Pilcer, executive chair of CSU’s Young Alumni Committee. “Having the ability to meet other CSU grads that are in the Denver area allows for a sense of security and belonging.”

The Lobby, located at 2191 Arapahoe St. in Denver, will offer drink and food specials for the event.

The CSU Young Alumni Committee hosts many events that range from social/networking events, to outdoor activities, to business development workshops.

“We are focusing on programming and activities geared toward individuals who have graduated from CSU in the last decade,” said Pilcer.

The Young Alumni Committee is one of three initiatives put into place by the Denver Ram Network, which also organizes business-oriented and family-friendly programming and events.

Though the event is free, online registration is required at www.alumni.colostate.edu/Events.aspx. For more information, contact Tiana Nelson at (303) 376-2613 tnelson@ar.colostate.edu.
