Colorado State Campus Community Entries Needed for Art and Science Exhibit by Feb. 24

Can science be beautiful? Can art be scientific? Students, faculty and staff are invited to submit work to Colorado State University’s Fifth Annual Art and Science Exhibition.

All entrants must register online by Feb. 24 in order to participate. For more information or to register online, please visit http://www.natsci.colostate.edu/artscience.

The Art and Science Exhibition is now accepting submissions in all mediums. All CSU students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate by submitting work, be it photomicrograph, computer simulation, circuit board, satellite imagery, painting, sculpture or pottery.

This exhibition will celebrate the intertwining of art and science by featuring scientific displays that are inherently artistic, as well as art that draws inspiration from science.

The opening reception and awards ceremony will be 4-6 p.m. March 5 in the Lory Student Center. The exhibition will be in the Curfman Gallery through April 7. Last year, more than 2,000 people visited the exhibition.
