Hunter was one of four people from North America to serve as a delegate to the United Nations preparatory conference for Europe and North America for the World Summit on Sustainable Development. She co-founded the prestigious Rocky Mountain Institute in Aspen and has been a champion of sustainability for more than 30 years.

Last year’s Cenergy expo included more than 250 attendees. The event will feature poster presentations from Clean Energy Supercluster faculty members, as well as presentations from several university clean energy startup companies.

The mission of the CSU Clean Energy Supercluster is to deliver solutions in clean energy through more effective partnering with the clean energy industry, governments, investors, and the public to rapidly develop product opportunities emerging from CSU’s world-class clean energy research. More than 100 CSU faculty members in all eight colleges are directly involved in this institution-wide effort.

Cenergy is the business component of the Clean Energy Supercluster. Professor Bryan Willson in mechanical engineering serves as the director of the Clean Energy Supercluster and chief scientific officer of Cenergy, overseeing the clean energy research activities of the university. Tim Reeser, as the chief operating officer for Cenergy, focuses on forging business alliances and developing new commercial opportunities for the results of that research.
