Media Advisory: Gov. Bill Ritter Joins CSU to Unveil Unique Program Assuring Higher Ed Affordability for Low- and Middle-Income Students

What/When:

Gov. Bill Ritter will join Colorado State University System Chancellor Joe Blake, CSU President Tony Frank and CSU-Pueblo President Joe Garcia to announce a new Colorado State University program to help assure that Colorado students from low- and middle-income families who are admitted to a CSU campus can afford to attend.

The announcement will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, at the State Capitol, West Foyer.

Also attending are Pat McConathy, chair of the CSU System Board of Governors, and Becky Takeda-Tinker, president of CSU-Global Campus.

Details:

The program is unique in the state of Colorado and will benefit Colorado resident undergraduates pursuing their first bachelor’s degree. CSU is committed to ensuring that Colorado residents who are qualified to attend the university have the financial means.
