Following the football game, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform an encore concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event, “Homecoming After Party featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Bop Skizzum, and the CSU Idol Finale,” is open to the public. The first 600 tickets are free for students of Colorado State. Remaining student tickets can be purchased for $10 each. Non-student tickets are $21 each. Tickets can be purchased at the Lory Student Center Box Office at (970) 491-4849 or online at www.csutix.com.

The Colorado State Rams will host Mountain West Conference opponent University of Nevada-Las Vegas at noon on Saturday, Oct. 16, on Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. The halftime show will be one of the highlight events of CSU’s homecoming weekend and the marching band’s season. The CSU Marching Band will collaborate with special guests, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, on the halftime show. Game time is noon, and tickets are available at www.csurams.com.

“The CSU Marching Band, in collaboration with Grammy nominated swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, will kick school spirit into gear during the 10-minute show,” said Christopher Nicholas, director of the CSU Marching Band.

The two bands will perform some of the swing band’s hit songs along with solo sections featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s instrumentalists and vocalist.

“The halftime performance will be unlike anything ever seen at a CSU Homecoming game. It truly is an original and interactive arrangement. The shout chorus from the song, ‘Go Daddy-O,’ will have Ram fans going crazy,” said Nicholas, who has worked directly with band members over the last few months.
