Recent Events in Korea Cancel Ambassadors’ Dialogue at Colorado State University on Dec. 1

The Colorado State University Ambassadors’ Dialogue 2010: Korea in the Spotlight, originally scheduled for Dec. 1, has been canceled because of recent events taking place on the Korean peninsula.

Scheduled to attend were His Excellency Han Duk-soo, Republic of Korea ambassador to the United States and former prime minister of the Republic of Korea, and Kathleen Stephens, United States ambassador to the Republic of Korea.

The Ambassadors’ Dialogue is likely to be rescheduled through the Korea Economic Institute (KEI) based in Washington, D.C. KEI is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 1982 focused on all aspects of the U.S.-Korea relationship. One of KEI’s most important missions is to broaden and deepen understanding among Americans about developments in Korea and the value of the U.S.-Korea relationship.

The event was organized by KEI with support from the College of Business and the Office of International Programs.
