College of Business at Colorado State Names New Director of Denver Executive MBA Program

Jill Terry has been named the new program director of the Denver Executive MBA program in the College of Business at Colorado State University.

Terry brings to the position more than 15 years of experience in building and strengthening academic programs for both private and non-profit colleges and universities. Previous experience includes work for Southern Vermont College, Union Graduate College, Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado-Boulder and University of Washington.

Located in downtown Denver, the CSU Executive MBA program is designed for aspiring executives, entrepreneurs and senior non-profit and government leaders who are seeking to advance their careers. According to 2009 research by the Executive MBA Council, students surveyed reported an average 29 percent salary increase, about one-third were promoted and 44 percent received new responsibilities after completing an Executive MBA program.

As director, Terry will be working in the Denver community to raise awareness of the CSU EMBA program as well as other professional education opportunities offered by CSU’s College of Business. She also will be responsible for the overall administration of the EMBA program, including program delivery, marketing, student recruiting and delivering alumni programming for the CSU MBA4Life.

Terry will host lunch information sessions at the Executive MBA classroom, 410 17th St., Suite 2440, in downtown Denver, March 23, April 27, May 25, and June 29 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Faculty, alumni and admissions staff will discuss the program and answer questions.

Colorado State’s College of Business offers one of the best MBA programs in the nation and in the Western United States, according to The Princeton Review. Colorado State’s business college is among 300 colleges listed in the 2011 edition of Princeton Review’s “The Best 300 Business Schools.”
