Colorado State University’s College of Business Offers ‘Physical Fitness and Wellness for Professionals’ March 26

Colorado State University’s College of Business will host author, physician, and competitive body builder Dr. Warren Willey from 9 a.m.-noon March 26 at the McKee Building at the Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds, in Loveland. Willey will offer his insights and unique perspectives on physical fitness and wellness for professionals.

Willey is author of, “What Does Your Doctor Look Like Naked? Your Guide to Optimum Health,” a book that examines how he has changed his life and that of his patients through a unique approach to patient care centering on preventive intervention.

“If you want health; if you want to lose weight and maintain the weight loss, it’s going to take some effort on your part,” Willey writes in his newest book, “The Z Diet: Lose Weight and Keep It Off.” “Make no mistake, if you’re after the quick solution, you may be able to obtain it, but chances are you will lose it.”

Willey will discuss nutritional programs, diet strategies, and exercise programs including:

• Simple nutritional interventions and lifestyle suggestions for busy professionals, such as understanding dieting, direct and indirect caloric control measures, and how to maintain long-term weight loss and health.

• Examination of supplements and meal replacement strategies and their role in the life of a working professional, including benefits and risks, knowing how to choose the right supplements, and the dangers of liquid calories.

• Review of exercise and movement tips including ideas that can work at either the gym or the office, and tips on how to keep business travel from interrupting normal exercise routines.

The cost for the seminar is $60. For more information or to register, contact Jim Francis at (970) 491-6265 or jim.francis@business.colostate.edu
