Colorado State University College of Business to Host Women Entrepreneurs’ Leadership Summit April 27

Colorado State University’s College of Business and its Center for Entrepreneurship will host the Women Entrepreneurs’ Leadership Summit April 27 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. with a networking reception from 5-7 p.m.

Some of the most notable entrepreneurs in the region will speak, including Kim Jordan, founder and CEO of New Belgium Brewery; Lori Burge, CEO of Colorado CustomWare; Wynne O’Dell, CEO of O’Dell Brewery; and Doug O’Dell, founder of O’Dell Brewery.

The summit aims to grow awareness of the challenges facing women in entrepreneurship and to provide practical advice and connections to encourage the growth of women-led businesses.

The event is open to the public. Registration is $45 for the day, which includes a luncheon. The event will include a blend of entrepreneurs, executives and business leaders as well as students, faculty and administration from Colorado State.

• The Boy’s Club and the Missing Girl’s Club
• Creating Successful Business Partnerships
• Funding the Female-run Company
• The Business of Politics
• Communication Messages and the Role Gender Plays
