Jerr Boschee, the founder and executive director of The Institute for Social Entrepreneurs, will present “The Global Rise of Social Enterprise” at 4 p.m. Oct.13 at Colorado State University’s College of Business in the Rockwell Hall-West Bohemian Auditorium.
Boschee will address the successes of many companies that started small and became multi-million dollar social enterprises. The event is free and open to the public.

Boschee has served as an advisor to social entrepreneurs around the world for more than 30 years. Globally, he is recognized as one of the founders of the social enterprise movement. He is board chair for Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship. During his career, he has also been the executive of a Fortune 100 company, an executive for multiple nonprofits and a Peace Corps volunteer. He has previously spoken at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and Carnegie Mellon.
