TEDxCSU is an event designed for the university and Fort Collins communities to hear speakers address different aspects of environmental sustainability such as energy, education, design and the effects of language on the future of sustainability.

This year’s theme is “Growing Greener Generations” and includes prominent speakers such as Ritter, now director of CSU’s Center for the New Energy Economy; Hunter Lovins, co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute; and CSU chemistry Professor Amy Prieto, among others.

“The speakers are what make up this event, but what is more important to us is that this event sparks important conversations, creates connections and inspires our audience to take action,” said Hannah Toole, TEDxCSU co-founder and CSU journalism student.

TEDxCSU is a CSU organization sponsored by CSU’s world-renowned Animal Sciences Professor Temple Grandin and spearheaded by undergraduate students Toole and Brooke Burtard.
