Colorado State University’s Everitt Real Estate Center, Fort Collins Board of Realtors to Host Home Buyer Event April 3

Colorado State University’s Everitt Real Estate Center will present “Profiles of Home Buyers and Sellers” at 9:30 a.m. April 3 at the Fort Collins Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St. The event will be a special presentation from the National Association of Realtors.

Jessica Lautz, manager of Member and Consumer Survey Research for the National Association of Realtors research division, will be presenting valuable information from the Annual Report of Home Buyers and Sellers. Martin Shields, Colorado State regional economist and Regional Economics Institute director, will discuss how national trends apply to the region.

“The Fort Collins Board of Realtors is very pleased to be able to partner with CSU’s Everitt Real Estate Center to bring in a national level presenter to discuss the current environment of the real estate market,” said Clint Skutchan, CEO of the Fort Collins Board of Realtors.

The presentation will focus on the rapid shift in demographics of home buyers in the last year.

“In the last year, the median income and age of home buyers has increased,” Lautz said. “There is the highest share in a decade of married couples buying homes, as well.”

Registration is free for members of the Everitt Real Estate Center and $15 for the general public. To register, visit www.biz.colostate.edu/EREC/events.
