Colorado State University President Tony Frank will deliver his Fall Address on Thursday, Sept. 13, on the university’s historic Oval. He will address highlights of the past year and efforts to build on CSU’s academic excellence.

WHEN:

The university community is invited to gather at the Oval at 11:15 a.m. with the Colorado State Marching Band. Frank will begin his comments at 11:30 a.m. from the south end of the Oval.

DETAILS:

Immediately following the address will be the annual university picnic, a long-standing tradition celebrating and promoting the spirit of Colorado State. Blue Grama, a bluegrass band local to Fort Collins, Colo., will provide the entertainment for the picnic.

The University Picnic was first held in September 1997 as a thank-you to the university community for pulling together in the aftermath of the devastating Spring Creek Flood. The event has been a university tradition ever since. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Spring Creek Flood.

This year’s Fall Address will be webcast live at http://cope.colostate.edu/csu_live.
