Colorado State University Clean Energy Supercluster to Host Symposium on Nation’s Energy Future during Earth Week

The Clean Energy Supercluster at Colorado State University will host a symposium about the nation’s energy future on Thursday, April 18, during the university’s Earth Week activities.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the main ballroom of the Lory Student Center, followed by the screening of a documentary, “Switch,” at 7:30 p.m. in Behavioral Sciences. Student and faculty research posters will be featured throughout the day at Lory.

Panelists will address major challenges, what CSU is researching, and how students, faculty, and industry can get involved. Scheduled panel discussions:

• 9:30-11 a.m. – Biomass
• Noon-1:30 p.m. – Solar
• 2:30-4 p.m. – Efficiency
