Colorado State University’s Career Center Hosts More Than 170 Recruiters April 17 for Teacher Job Fair

Colorado State University’s Career Center will host a Teacher Job Fair 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the Lory Student Center Main and North ballrooms on campus.

The Teacher Job Fair will include more than 170 recruiters from more than 50 school districts with the desire to interview prospective teachers, principals, counselors and other educational professionals. Recent and graduating college students, teachers and administrators seeking jobs in K-12 education are invited to attend.

The Teacher Job Fair provides students who intend to graduate and be licensed to teach by August 2013 the opportunity to meet with school districts hiring for teaching, staff and administrative positions. This fair is structured to support same-day interviews so candidates wishing to be considered for interviews should attend the fair between 8 and 10 am. Candidates who are chosen to interview will be scheduled for a time between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

“This is an amazing opportunity for students to network with educational professionals and find their passion with helping students’ success in school,” said Diane Hellbusch, Teacher Job Fair coordinator.

There is no charge for CSU students and alumni to attend the job fair; non-CSU affiliates may pay the $50 day-of registration fee. For further information, visit www.career.colostate.edu or call Diane Hellbusch at (970) 491-1756.
