Three Horticulture Programs Jointly Hold Spring Plant Sale on May 11-12

Timed for Mother’s Day, an annual Spring Plant Sale organized by Fort Collins horticulture programs will offer a range of bedding plants, herbs, vegetable starts, color bowls, ornamental grasses, perennials and hanging baskets.

The Spring Plant Sale is open to the public 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 11 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 12 at The Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Ave., in Fort Collins.

Plants offered in the sale have been grown by students in the horticulture programs at Colorado State University and Front Range Community College, as well as The Gardens on Spring Creek, a community horticulture program run by the city of Fort Collins.

Proceeds from the Spring Plant Sale benefit the three programs.
