Colorado State University’s Surplus Sale June 15 and 16

The annual Surplus Tent Sale will be Saturday, June 15, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, June 16, 8 a.m.-noon at 201 W. Lake St. Items sold at the Surplus Tent Sale are collected from on-campus student housing locations as part of the Leave it Behind program sponsored by the Eco Leaders Sustainability Peer Education Program.

Items for sale from the Leave it Behind program include bikes, clothing, school supplies, bedding, furniture, lamps, technology and household supplies. All proceeds from items sold through the Leave it Behind program will be donated to the Eco Leaders Sustainability Peer Education Program at CSU to help fund programs like Leave it Behind, RecycleMania, the Green Warrior energy campaign, several Earth Week programs and the annual trash audit.

Parking is available at the Lake Street Garage on the corner of Center Avenue and Prospect Road and at Pitkin Street East Parking Lot No. 547.

About Surplus Property

CSU Surplus Property is responsible for the handling and disposition of all property that the University no longer has a use for by providing an opportunity to reallocate still-usable items from one area of the University to other areas that have a need for them. Surplus Property also provides an outlet for the reuse of unneeded property in a suitable manner, either through walk-in sales to the public, vehicle auctions and surplus auctions, or recycling items that no longer have a market value. Located at 201 W. Lake St. on the southeast portion of the main campus, Surplus Property operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., and is open to the public.
