Engineering Exploration Day at Colorado State University Oct. 5

High school students, their parents and community members can learn about engineering majors and careers at Colorado State University’s Engineering Exploration Day, 9 a.m.-4:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 5.

The event is free and open to the public, and will take place on the main Fort Collins campus.

Engineering Exploration Day participants will experience demonstrations from all of CSU’s engineering programs, including robotics and environmental displays. Engineering professors will describe the university’s Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Biological, Civil and Environmental, Electrical and Computer, Engineering Science, and Mechanical Engineering programs.

Participants will also learn about undergraduate life at Colorado State, including advising, housing and dining, and the university’s financial aid and scholarship programs. Tours of the College of Engineering Building and the Academic Village, CSU’s living and learning community, will be led by current engineering students, who will also answer questions about their experiences.

To register, go to www.engr.colostate.edu/explore. Space is limited and typically fills quickly, so register early.
