The National Western Stock Show is Jan. 11-26 at the National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt St., Denver. Plan to stop by the CSU exhibit booth on the third floor of the Hall of Education for information on academic programs, free giveaways and more.

Colorado State University has a long and storied connection to the National Western Stock Show, one of Denver’s and the Rocky Mountain West’s most anticipated annual traditions for over a century. Today, the partnership between the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State remains strong.

“The National Western Stock Show continues its history of generous giving and support of Colorado State. The Stock Show is the largest individual annual scholarship donor in the College of Agricultural Sciences,” said Rick Brase, director of development.

Tour CSU’s Ag Adventure, an interactive educational exhibit located next to the CSU booth. The Ag Adventure exhibit includes hands-on displays from a variety of Colorado commodity groups and trade organizations. Ag Adventure teaches children and other visitors about livestock production, crop production, animal husbandry, land stewardship and the “farm-to-plate” process through a series of entertaining activities.

The Ag Adventure exhibit and CSU booth are open daily during the entire run of the 2014 National Western Stock Show.
