An Evening with Author Elizabeth Silver
Elizabeth Silver, author of the Execution of Noa P. Singleton, will speak 7-9 p.m. May 5 at the Hilton Fort Collins as part of the free author evening series sponsored by the Friends of the CSU Libraries and the Poudre River Friends of the Library. Technical summit on brewing
The Master Brewers Association of the Americas will host a Rocky Mountain Technical Summit 7:30 a.m.¬-5:30 p.m. May 7 in the Colorado State University Drake Centre. In addition to presentations and papers on the latest in brewing, the summit will feature opening remarks from College of Health and Human Sciences Dean Jeff McCubbin and an update on CSU’s fermentation science and technology program from Jeff Callaway, the program’s director of industry relations. SoGES Open House
The School of Global Environmental Sustainability will host an open house 4-6 p.m. May 9 in Johnson Hall. Learn about highlights of the past year, plans for next year and meet the incoming Global Challenges Research Teams and Resident Fellows for the 2014-2015 academic year. MAX University Station grand opening and Around the Horn shuttle launch
CSU is launching its cross-campus shuttle, Around the Horn, later this summer in conjunction with Transfort’s launch of MAX. The shuttle will be featured at the celebration of the MAX opening, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. May 10 at University Station. The opening features campus tours, giveaways, food and live music from Post Paradise, an indie-alternative rock band.
