Colorado State University’s arts leadership degree expands to Denver

Colorado State University’s LEAP Institute for the Arts will be expanding its master’s in Arts Leadership & Administration Program course offerings to Denver beginning in spring 2016.

“We have received a lot of interest from the Denver area about our arts leadership program,” says LEAP Director Constance DeVereaux. “There is a growing need for arts leaders with the skills, knowledge, and training in arts management, entrepreneurship and community engagement that we provide.”

LEAP 500 – Leadership in the Arts, an eight-week introductory course, will be offered on Saturdays from March 26 to May 14 at the CSU Denver Center at 475 17th St. The course is open to non-degree-seeking students, allowing a variety of individuals to take an introductory course to explore whether the degree is a strong fit for their needs.

LEAP also offers an online version of the master’s in Arts Leadership and Administration degree, allowing those in the Denver region to continue with the degree without relocating to Fort Collins.

LEAP, which stands for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Arts Advocacy and the Public, is located in CSU’s College of Liberal Arts. For more information visit leap.colostate.edu/masters or contact DeVereaux at constance.devereaux@colostate.edu.
