SNL’s Leslie Jones brings standup comedy to Colorado State University March 23

FORT COLLINS — Saturday Night Live cast member and Colorado State University alumna Leslie Jones performs at CSU Comedy Works in the Lory Student Center Theater Wednesday, March 23, at 7 p.m.

Jones, who also stars in the new Ghostbusters movie, came to CSU in 1987 to play basketball, but found her true calling as a very, very funny person when she entered a campus comedy competition.

“All of my friends were there, and I got up on stage and just killed it,” Jones told CSU Magazine last fall. “I felt like I had been doing it forever. It all came together the first time I heard that laughter.”

Jones’ stand-up comedy show is free for CSU students with ID, $15 for general public. Tickets available online at csutix.com or in person at the box office in the LSC.

This presentation is sponsored by RamEvents and the CSU Alumni Association.

RamEvents is an inclusive programming board that provides diverse and affordable events to both entertain and enrich the Colorado State University experience.
