CSU hosts Emmy-winning entrepreneur Nely Galan April 26

Colorado State University, in collaboration with The Adelante Movement presented by Coca-Cola, will host a free seminar, “How to Become Self Made,” to empower individuals to become self-made entrepreneurs, featuring keynote speaker Nely Galán. The event will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 26 in the Lory Student Center Grand Ballroom on campus. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The program will include a networking event at 5:30 p.m. followed by a keynote lecture led by Galán. Participants will learn real-life lessons on money, goal setting and the skills to become a self-made entrepreneur. Galán’s tough love approach will inspire students to embark on a quest of pursuing their dreams and the importance of working toward that dream with desire and discipline.

“I realized that my most meaningful success has come from financial self-reliance, and I want to ignite that same self-made mindset in the lives of young women, empowering them to achieve their own economic independence and live rich lives in every way,” Galán said. “Women are the growth-engines of our economy, and collaborating with Colorado State University and Coca-Cola will help shape the economic future of students and our country.”
