CSU’s College of Business Online MBA rises among the world’s best according to Financial Times

Colorado State University’s College of Business’s Online MBA program climbed four spots to rank No. 15 in the world according to the 2018 Financial Times’ Online MBA Ranking, released this week. This is the second consecutive year the program ranked in the top 20 worldwide. The rankings also place it among the top 10 online programs in the country.

“For over 50 years, our MBA program has led the way in providing an accessible, innovative, and impactful distance education. This achievement is a testament to the caliber of the curriculum and the faculty, staff, students and alumni actively engaged in making our Online MBA a world-class experience,” said CSU College of Business Dean Beth Walker.

Factors propelling CSU’s College of Business Online MBA to the top 15 in the world include career progress, online delivery, program diversity, idea generation, and program value, as well as additional considerations such as average completion time.

The Financial Times ranked the College of Business Online MBA value for the money at No. 7, a reflection of graduate salaries in comparison to tuition and costs. Survey respondents averaged salaries at $138,542 and experienced a 30 percent salary increase post degree.

“The program’s flexibility combined with its strong curriculum is a compelling draw for students. Whether on-campus, in Denver or deployed, our Online MBA enables students to advance their careers while balancing other lifestyle choices,” said Walker.

In terms of percent of female students, it achieved the No. 5 spot at 39 percent female, not far from the top spot which reported 50 percent female students.

The Online MBA at the College of Business was also recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report in its 2018 rankings as the No. 1 Online MBA in Colorado.
