Disney Institute at Colorado State University spotlights how to boost employee engagement

Employee engagement has never been more crucial to business success. But how can an organization create a work culture that helps employees perform at their best?

Managers and employees alike will find inspiration and practical insights at this year’s Disney Institute, “Disney’s Approach to Employee Engagement: Attract, Train and Retain the People that Best Fit Your Work Culture” on Monday, July 30, at Colorado State University’s Morgan Library.

At the all-day event, trainers from global business leader Disney will share their practices and processes that reinforce their work culture in order to ensure high-performing employees.

Attendees will participate in discussions, hands-on lectures and informational sessions to learn how to adapt and apply these powerful insights in their own workplaces.

Concepts covered by trainers will include:

Disney at CSU

For the past six years, the Disney Institute on campus has sold out, and this year is expected to be no different.

“Every year, the response from attendees is overwhelmingly positive,” said Patrick Burns, vice president for information technology and dean of CSU Libraries. “We’re pleased to host this amazing educational opportunity for our community.”

The institute will take place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to campus and general public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Tuition for the all-day event is $325 for CSU affiliates and $499 for community members. Community members who register before June 30 will receive a $100 discount. Seats are filling quickly.
